Wall Drawings und andere Bildnisse
For over 15 years, Monica Germann and Daniel Lorenzi deal with the essence of painting and the materiality of images. They paint directly onto the walls of the exhibition spaces and thus extend the spaces with their imagery. Their works are always direct and always very personal, as they ususally include elements from their own lifes.
This book now provides the first comprehensive view at the work of Monica Germann and Daniel Lorenzi, it documents a large part of their ephemeral works and allows for an inclusion of their work into a recent art history of painting and drawing.
With essays by Patricia Grzonka, Julie Enckell Julliard, Isabel Friedli and Christoph Doswald.
