Olaf Habelmann

Olaf Habelmann (1970–2011) studied fashion design at the Fachhochschule Hamburg. As a costume designer he worked with the theatre directors Anja Gronau (Hebbel am Ufer/Berlin, Schauspiel Frankfurt, Staatstheater Stuttgart, Wiener Festwochen), Frank Hilbrich (Staatsoper Hannover), Malte Ubenauf (Kampnagel Hamburg, Schauspielhaus Zürich) and Samuel Schwarz (Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg). Habelmann’s collages, installations and objects were exhibited at Glaspavillion, Berlin (2008), Samsa, Berlin (2008) and Oberwelt, Stuttgart (2009). As a stylist he worked for Volkswagen, NDR, Nike etc. and created editorial contributions for ZEIT Campus, jetzt Magazin, Spex, Park Avenue and Monopol.
